This simple strategy will help you get RuneSpan Points quickly when you want to complete a HeroPass Challenge in RS3. Note that this strategy is intended to help progress through a RuneSpan points challenge faster, and it won’t actually increase your overall accumulated points. However, this trick is a free method and it is extremely fast.

Just follow these steps and you can progress 1500+ RuneSpan points to complete your RS3 HeroPass Challenge.
First, you must have at least 112 RuneSpan points. If you don’t, you can inspect an unstable air rune if you have one (there are some in the Hero Satchel rewards from the current HeroPass!), or siphon until you accumulate 112. Once you have 112, it’s smooth sailing.
- Get to the Wizard’s Tower
- Teleport there using a Wicked Hood (Recommended for the fasted RuneSpan points).
- Teleport to the Draynor Village Lodestone and head south to the Wizard’s Tower
- Talk to any wizard at any runecrafting alter – eventually, they will give you the option to teleport to the Wizard’s Tower
- Ascend to the top floor (Not necessary if you use a Wicked Hood to teleport here)
- Enter any level of the RuneSpan
- Right-click the Wizard standing where you warped in and agree to buy all runes.
- Teleport back out (either with the Wicked Hood or by talking to the same Wizard)
- The runes you just bought will turn back into 112 RuneSpan points, and this 112 will count towards your challenge progress.
NOTE: Inspecting an unstable air rune will NOT count towards challenge progress.
That’s all! And yes, this is a cheese move – but most people felt the HeroPass challenge design was a cheese move. So, cheese all around!
